Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Profyle collects, why it is used, and the choices available to account holders and public-profile visitors.

Effective date: 28 July 2026 · Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Information we collect

  • Account information such as name, email address, job title, authentication and verification records.
  • Profile content such as biography, photo, experience, projects, contact details, links, and visibility choices.
  • Subscription and transaction records, gateway references, currency, amount, status, refund requests, and receipts. We do not store complete card details.
  • Contact-support messages and related correspondence.
  • Technical and security information such as IP address, browser details, request identifiers, logs, and public-profile views.

2. How information is used

  • Provide, secure, personalise, and maintain Profyle.
  • Publish profile information according to your visibility and search-discovery settings.
  • Process subscriptions, payments, cancellations, refunds, receipts, and service communications.
  • Prevent abuse, investigate errors, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Understand aggregated product usage and improve the service.

3. Public profiles and search engines

Information on a published profile is visible to anyone with its link. If you enable search-engine discovery, the link may appear in our sitemap and may be indexed or cached by third-party search engines. Disabling discovery removes the sitemap entry and applies a noindex directive, but third parties control how quickly cached results are removed.

4. Sharing and processors

We share information only as needed with infrastructure, email, security, analytics, and payment providers acting on our behalf, or when required by law. Payment gateways process payment credentials under their own privacy terms. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet financial and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security records. We use access controls, encryption where appropriate, audit logging, and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Edit profile and account information.
  • Control contact visibility, publishing, and search-engine discovery.
  • Unpublish or request deletion of your profile.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by contacting support.
  • Cancel a subscription or submit an eligible refund request through your account.

7. Cookies and sessions

Profyle uses essential cookies and similar storage for authentication, security, preferences, and service operation. Additional analytics technologies, if introduced, will be described through appropriate notice or consent controls.
